Her religion is Christadelphian, which is significantly different than Christianity.
If one wants a list, just ask a spiritually strong person.
We have to make loving Him and our Lord Jesus the first priority in our lives.
We must work hard to trust Him, despite the pull of our natural hearts to do things our own way, imagining we can succeed.
Are there any ex-Christadelphians on this site or anyone who is familiar with the religion. I was looking to see if there was someone on the site here that has some experience with them as well. I would say that they are Christians, but that they have some extremist fringe views in certian areas. I've never heard of a Christadelphian -and it doesn't seem she even understands their beliefs, according to what CC posted. Christadelphians believe that the Kingdom of God will be located on the Earth, with Jerusalem as its capital....." Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
I have done a great deal of research on it and joined one of their discussion forums, which is more like a propaganda site, so I need any help I can get. Discussion with them is tantamount to pounding my head against the wall, since they believe that they have "the Truth" (their emphasis, not mine) and the rest of the worlds religions are lost and apostate. However some of this is scripturally supported as written, though I'm not familiar with their actual beliefs... Rev 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; Rev And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
Rev Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
Zec And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
The original scrolls were discovered some seventy years ago in late 1946 by young Bedouin shepherds and were eventually examined and identified in 1947 by Syrian Christians, Bible scholars, archaeologists, the Hebrew University in Jerusalem under Professor Sukenik and Dr W. Albright of the John Hopkins University in Baltimore, USA.
More scrolls came to light during the subsequent decade in surrounding locations.
WE have a real challenge in today’s society to find a partner with which to spend the rest of our lives. Statistics show that divorce is most often terribly hard on children and sleeping together does not improve the chances for a lasting commitment. Most of us dislike the word ‘rules’ because it implies restriction and lack of freedom. He gives us rules or commandments to make us happy and to give Him glory, not to restrict our freedom.
Sleeping together before marriage is now considered the norm.
